Swimming & WatersportsEnjoy boating, water sports, swimming and fishing in Spanish Ship Bay or one of our many natural lakes and streams. In the Summer months Spanish Ship Bay reaches temperatures above 75 degrees!
Hiking & Mountain BikingIf you like to hike, there are several great trails along the banks of the Liscomb River that will take you upstream to an old suspension bridge and man made fish ladder. For the more adventurous, a boat ride can be arranged to take you to Liscomb Island, where a two-mile hike will take you to the lighthouse and a picnic lunch on the rocks of the Atlantic Ocean shore! Boat rides can also be taken to Gegoggan Harbor (inaccessible by road) where you can dig steamers, quahogs and razor clams on miles of isolated, sandy beaches. Children will love exploring the rock pools on the intertidal zones along our shores and beaches!
We are also located less than a one hour drive from The Keppoch Mountain which offers downhill mountain biking runs, cross country trails and more! Find out more at http://thekeppoch.ca
Guided Hunting, Fishing & Scuba Diving ToursIn the Fall we offer guided hunting trips for black bear, white tailed deer and a variety of native duck species. For the fishermen, both the Liscomb River and the St. Mary’s river are excellent salmon streams and the inland lakes in this area teem with trout. If you are a scuba diver or snorkler the waters surrounding the Liscomb area are abundant with scallops, and clams!
